The Official Move Internet Mailing List, Useless Information, is a very active, private e-mail list dedicated to the discussion of The Move, Roy Wood, and all related artists and projects. Useless Information (The Move List) is the Internet companion to The Move Online and keeps list members up-to-date on the current activities of Trevor Burton, Ace Kefford, Roy Wood, Carl Wayne and Bev Bevan.

Founded in September 1993, The Move List has thousands of subscribers from all over the world who are first to hear about new releases, live performances, media appearances, etc. with information received direct from the artists, management and record companies.

Useless Information is offered in three formats:

Talk (or "bounce") - Individual diiscussion posts are distributed immediately to each member of the "talk" list.

Digest - The option for people who can't receive a lot of mail, or simply can't keep up with the mail on the talk list.

News Announcements - An announcement-only list for those who only want to receive website updates and official news announcements (no interaction with other fans, just the facts) that are also posted to Useless Information.
